Answered Prayer

I just want to share to you the story of my life. This happened when I went to school last year (for career advancement).

Mid of 2008, I got sick and was confined in a private hospital. Prior to that, most of my days were spent for work, overtime now and then. A month after I got sick, a notice came that I am due to go to school. I have to take the course for career advancement and there's no way of getting out of it. My doctor told me to file for a two-months leave so I could fully recover from sickness. And yet, it was not a escape goat for the schooling. Every night I cried for I was afraid what will happen to me if I pursue with my schooling. I was still weak, adviced not to engage in strenuous physical activities. I prayed hard to give me the sign for me to pursue with the course I have to take up.

When I took the entrance exam, I was the only one among the twenty aspirants who passed the exam. I told myself, "This is the sign that I have been waiting for." Although it was an asnwered prayed, my worries did not stop there. When the course opened, I need to participate in the daily roadruns in order to pass the physical fitness test. After one week, the PFT was scheduled. I was afraid I might fail in the said test considering that I was still recovering. Again, I prayed and so, I passed the test!

Academics was a part in the curriculum. Another problem for me was to pass all the tests. You may ask how many items- well, in one subject there will be from 10 to 20 items test. However, you need to get at least 70% of the test to pass. The general anesthesia injected to me affected my memory. I had a difficulty in memorizing and comprehending the lessons. Again, I prayed hard. before the start of the exams, my prayer was "Lord, I ask you to help me answer the questions correctly, Thank You. Amen..." I passed all the exams. Until the comprehensive exam was scheduled, I alwys had the same prayer. The final comprehensive exam was a 200-items test (enumeration, multiple responce and single responce test). Guess what? God was so good. I was the only student to get the perfect score!!! Imagine 200 out of 200 items! According to our Course Director and other school officials, it was the first time for them to give such number of items and type of examination. They came into a conclusion that they provided the best learning procedure and there was nothing wrong with the exam they gave. However, some of my classmates got low grades such as 50 or 60. Anyway, GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYERS. God says "Do your share and I shall do the rest..."

Praise God!
